We are very lucky here in Western Montana. There is a thriving community of local producers that work to share a vast array of products with us - from cherries to cheese. As the Missoula Community Co-op started work on a database to contact producers, we realized that there was a possibility to provide a service that would help everyone access the products or information they seek. Together with The North Missoula Community Development Corporation and the Community Food and Agriculture Coalition we initiated a regional product study funded through a USDA, CSREES Community Food Project grant. This site is the end result. Here is the seed of a living forum for growers, consumers, and businesses to traverse the range of the regional farm community.

You can search for a product and find all of the producers who offer it, search for a specific region and find all of the producers who are based there, or find out how to reach a specific farm... This is a work in progress so feel free to add your farm, if it is not represented, or update a contact page as your offerings change. The coop will manage this site into the future, together with its many partners, in keeping with our mission to support our regional economy.
