How to Start Ordering

1.  Become a member and sign up for the email list serv.
Providing your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address will allow us to contact you with monthly ordering reminders, news of special products, public meetings and events, and other information. Also, signing up for the list serv will keep you in the loop. You will get about two emails per month. To sign up, send an email to: coop-kitchen-subscribe@mailman.montana.com

2.  Get the catalogues from our suppliers and decide what products to order.
While the co-op usually has a few Azure and Frontier catalogs on hand, it is easiest to contact the supplier for a free catalog.  Both of our suppliers also display their catalog online for viewing. See the User Friendly Guide for help.
  • Azure Standard:     (541) 467-2230                       www.azurestandard.com
  • Frontier:                (800) 669-3275                       http://wholesale.frontiercoop.com/
  • When ordering a catalog- your company name is Missoula Food Co-op.
  • Our list of local products is sent out every month through email or can be picked up at the co-op.
3. Send your order to the co-op by the order date deadline.
Please send your orders electronically using the order forms provided in the monthly email or stop by the co-op to pick up ordering information. Orders are due on specific Tuesdays by noon. Order and delivery dates for 2006/2007 are as follows:

In order to get great deals, sometimes we need to order items in large sizes. When you split an order with someone else, it is your responsibility to arrange who is going to order and pay for the item, and a way to split it.

4. Pick up your order between 10am and 6pm on the delivery date.
Payment is due when you pick up your order. We currently accept cash, checks and Food Stamp (EBT) benefits for payment. Your order will be corralled together (usually in a box) with an invoice itemizing your order.
If you have ANY questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us! Scheduled open hours are Monday through Wednesday from 2pm-6pm but staff can always be reached by phone or email. We are here to help!
